Last night, I was invited to attend the Prism X Masq Re-Launch. The event was for two local companies, MASQ and Prism Brush Bar. The night included a panel of local natural beauty experts; my takeaways are listed below.
I took home Mane-Tain and a Brush Bar, which I will be reviewing soon. I’m excited to give my ombre hair some much-needed moisture! I only use an eyeshadow brush, but I’ve never washed it (I know, so bad), so I’ll be putting the Brush Bar to good use!
Some of my takeaways from the event:
- Putting ‘chemical free’ on a product is not regulated, so technically anyone can use that phrase. Make sure to look into the ingredients when something is ‘chemical free.’
- There are a lot of ingredients included in North American beauty products that are banned in Europe. It definitely made me wonder what I’m using that I probably shouldn’t be.
- When ‘fragrance’ is listed as an ingredient, it could include many ingredients, but companies don’t have to state what was used as ‘fragrance.’
- There are a lot of inspirational female entrepreneurs in KW and I need to surround myself with more of them!
What are your go-to natural beauty products? Comment below – I’d love some suggestions!
